amendments:
1) Establish a cobia aquaculture permit and application process;
2) Authorize permittees to possess and sell cobia in sizes and quantities that would,

4) Prohibit the transfer of an aquaculture permit
5) Require cobia from an aquaculture facility
to be packaged prior to sale with a printed label indicating the
product is of aquaculture origin;
6) Allow for the sale in Virginia of
aquaculture cobia from another state, provided the product is labeled
as an aquaculture product; and,
7) Prohibit the release of any aquaculture cobia into
Virginia waters without the written permission of the Commissioner.
