Harborton Landing

The Harborton landing facility was completed in 2000.  The project received $115,535 in VSRFDF grant funds.  The facility has a double boat ramp and a 60 space boat/trailer parking area.  The facility has handicapped accessible parking spaces and portable restrooms.  The ramp and piers are for boat landing only. Crabbing, fishing, and swimming are prohibited from the boating piers.  The facility has no fee and is open 24 hours.  The Harborton facility offers access to some of the middle Chesapeake Bay's best fishing areas.

Harborton Landing is located in Accomack County on Pungoteague Creek.

From US Route 13 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, take Route 180W (Pungoteague Road) towards Pungoteague.  The road winds around alot, so pay close attention.  Follow Route 180W until it bears right (Harborton Road).  At the T, turn left to continue on 180W/178S and then take an immediate right to continue on 180W.  Make sure to bear right at the Y on 180W towards Harborton.  The ramp will be at the end.
