The Virginia Marine Resources Commission will be hosting a public information meeting in cooperation with the US Navy Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek � Fort Story (JEBLCFS) on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021 from 6 � 7:30 PM at the VMRC Main Office located at 380 Fenwick Road, Fort Monroe VA, 23651. This meeting will provide information on allowed fishing activities in specific Chesapeake Bay areas near Lynnhaven.
The US Navy has requested the VMRC provide support to Naval training conducted at JEBLCFS within these areas through education and enforcement.
Special training personnel from JEBLCFS and VMRC staff will be presenting information as well as be available for any questions and concerns following this presentation. The areas that will be discussed are provided in the links below.
